Isekai: Waifu Overlord download: where it runs today and what it needs
You can download Isekai: Waifu Overlord free from Steam for Windows and macOS, where it has been out since September 25, 2026. If you would rather not install anything, the same game runs in a browser tab at isekaiwaifuoverlord.com or on Nutaku. For phones, Nutaku offers an Android APK and an iOS sideload; in Germany, where the Steam page is not available, the browser version is the way to play.

The standalone browser version opens behind an 18+ notice and runs in a tab, so nothing is installed. It starts you on a guest account straight away, and its shop prices are in US dollars. The site's footer says it is operated by IT Delaza EOOD in Bulgaria. The Play buttons here open it; what you do inside is on the gameplay page.

Nutaku
Nutaku's listing has carried the game since July 16, 2026: in the PC browser, in the mobile browser, as an Android APK and as an iOS file you sideload. It is free with in-game purchases and needs a Nutaku account. Nutaku's only requirement line reads “Browser Chrome, 2gb+ RAM”.

All three tables ask for a broadband connection, and both Windows tiers add “Internet required”. Steam gives no recommended tier for macOS and no Linux requirements.
Will my PC or Mac run it?
On Windows the bar is low, with one exception: memory. The processor line asks only for an x86 or x64 chip with SSE2, which every 64-bit PC processor has; the graphics line asks for a DirectX 9 card; storage is 2 GB. But 8 GB of RAM is the minimum, and the recommended tier, which names an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, asks for the same 8 GB. Windows 10 and 11 are the only versions named.
On a Mac, Steam names an Apple M1 or Intel Core M processor, 4 GB of RAM, an “8-Core GPU” and 4 GB of storage, with High Sierra as the system. High Sierra runs only on Intel Macs; M1 Macs shipped with macOS 11 Big Sur or later.
On Steam Deck, Valve rates the game Playable: the on-screen keyboard does not open by itself for text fields, and the game needs an internet connection. Nutaku's browser version lists a lighter requirement: Chrome and 2 GB of RAM.
Installing from Steam
- Install the Steam client and sign in; the account is free.
- Open the store page and press Play Game, the button free-to-play games show instead of a price.
- Steam adds the game to your library and installs it.
- Launch it from the library while online.
The listing is marked Adult Only. Steam hides such games until the signed-in account allows adult-only sexual content under Store Preferences; if the page will not open, change that setting first. The Steam version has 66 achievements and supports Family Sharing; Steam Cloud is not among its listed features.
Playing from Germany
The Steam store page for the game does not open in Germany. Steam keeps Adult Only games out of its German store in general, and its rating data marks this one as banned there; players in Austria and Switzerland see the page as normal. From Germany, the way to play is the browser version, at isekaiwaifuoverlord.com or on Nutaku. German is among the 22 interface languages on Steam and among the 15 on Nutaku.
Android and iOS
The game is not listed on Google Play or Apple's App Store. Mobile installs come from Nutaku: an Android APK file, and an iOS file (IPA) that you sideload with a tool such as AltStore, SideStore, Sideloadly or Nutaku's own Quick Install. Nutaku's mobile browser version needs no install at all.
APK files on mirror sites and “mod” builds are third-party copies. Modified APKs are a common way to spread malware and steal logins, so take the APK from Nutaku and nowhere else.
Languages, saves and accounts
Accounts and saves. The browser version starts you on a guest account. Its Settings window (the gear icon, top right) shows your User ID and has a Save now button. Registering with an e-mail address and a password is optional, and the game gives a reward for it (“Register to get reward!”). The same window holds the Promo Code field; whether any code is out is on the promo codes page. Steam needs a Steam account and Nutaku a Nutaku account; the developers have not said that progress moves between the three versions.
Languages. The browser version has a Language menu in Settings and a globe icon on the title screen. On Steam the game has 22 interface and subtitle languages, German, Japanese, Korean and both Chinese scripts among them, plus full voice acting in English and Russian, added with the Steam release.
