Meet Elira Noctilum (October 9–22, 2026)
A Steam event around Elira Noctilum, a psychotherapist who also happens to be a moth. It pairs an arcade challenge, in which you keep Elira flying past obstacles, with a Wheel of Fortune that pays out resources; scenes with Elira unlock as you clear the challenges.

Voice acting for the web and Nutaku versions
An update announced on the publisher's Bluesky account brings voice acting to the web and Nutaku versions for the first time and adds many newly voiced scenes to the Steam version, which has had English and Russian audio since release. Mirabella, Lily, Nyakol and Tara are among the heroines named. Dialogues now show your username, and the update also brings bug fixes.

Rosalind's Event: Her Highness's Whim! (October 1–6, 2026)
A PvE event on Steam around Princess Rosalind von Eisenthal, the king's only daughter, who fakes her own kidnapping to visit the village. Its challenges pay out resources, and Rosalind joins the collection with her story scenes. On Nutaku she had headed the Royal Challenge, August 27 – September 1, 2026.

Battle Pass “Ophelia” (September 25 – October 15, 2026)
“Ophelia – The Necromancer in Love!” is the Battle Pass that opened on Steam with the release. Its main reward is Ophelia, a young necromancer billed as a Legendary heroine; pass levels come from quests.

Clarissa's Event: Intermission for Two! (September 25 – October 9, 2026)
Clarissa, the Sad Jester of a travelling circus, runs a roulette at the Fair: complete quests, spin the wheel and win Clarissa and her story scenes for the collection. She was first billed as the Sad Jester in the Fair Update of April 2026.

Released on Steam
The game launched on Steam as a free-to-play title, with full English and Russian voice acting as its release bonus. The launch post thanks players for 100,000 wishlists, a mark announced on September 22 after 65,000 in late July and 80,000 at the end of August, and promises events, a Battle Pass and mini-games. In the Heart of the Underground (September 24–29, 2026)
Uzura, matriarch of a drow faction whose realm has been robbed, sends players down into the dungeons to clear out the thieves' hideouts. The event ran September 24–29 on Nutaku and September 25–29 on Steam, where it was the first event after release.

A Discord server for the game
A Steam post opened a Discord server just for this game, with community events and giveaways promised there; the day before, the publisher had advertised it on Bluesky with a chance of early access to the Steam version. In the browser version, the Settings window has a Discord button right next to the Promo Code button.

Battle Pass “Vendetta” on Nutaku (September 14 – October 11, 2026)
Nutaku's news page for the game introduced Vendetta, the Lazy Warrior: a Legendary heroine made by the Goddess of War and the main reward of this four-week pass, levelled through quests. Steam's pass in the same weeks was Ophelia's.

Japanese Festival: Catch Fish with Miyuki (July 31 – August 13, 2026)
A two-week fishing event on Nutaku, hosted by a character named Miyuki.

Launch on Nutaku and the 200,000 Gold race
The game launched on Nutaku on July 16, 2026, after a pre-registration phase with bonuses. Nutaku's launch race gave players 72 hours from release to clear 150 Expedition levels, with 61 prizes adding up to 200,000 Nutaku Gold: one of 20,000 and sixty of 3,000.

Waifu Gala festival on Steam (July 27 – August 10, 2026)
The publisher announced on Bluesky that 11 of its games, this one among them, would join Steam's Waifu Gala festival. The gift code “Waifu” posted in the same thread is for Wet Wealth, a different game.

The Fair Update
A travelling circus came to the village with Clarissa, the Sad Jester, plus missions, points and a prize wheel; the event ran until May 14, 2026. Every account received 200 Gems in the in-game bank as a thank-you gift.

Story Map Update
Added a Story Map that gathers the plot in one place, a new character named Camila and balance changes to skills and bonuses. Every account received 20 Summon Tickets.

Steam demo and Next Fest
A demo came out on Steam, pre-announced for October 7, 2025 at 21:00 CET, and took part in Steam Next Fest from October 13 to 20 next to the publisher's Passion Industry and Cookie of Desire demos. It presented the game as a management sim in which a goddess hands you a village to build up. In November 2025 the game also joined Steam's Adult Games Week; the demo is no longer offered.
How limited events work
In the browser version, a limited event opens a map of its own with an event Bank, a Divine Summon, Battle stages, a Roulette, a Rating and an event pass. Clearing the event's stages earns pass experience, pass levels pay out PvE summon tickets, and those summons bring artifacts. The event pass has a free and a premium track.
The roulette takes one ticket per spin, a ticket costs 100 gems, and every few spins carries a guaranteed reward. The Rating ranks players within a group and worldwide, with rewards by place. Each event also has its own heroine, awakened with Crystal Shards; shards left unused carry over to the next event.
The Battle Passes in the list above are a separate, longer track, levelled through quests, with a free and a premium track. In the browser version the season pass levels with stars from Apostle's Tasks, and its premium track costs $19.99, or $49.99 with 30 levels included. Questions and answers
How long do events in Isekai: Waifu Overlord last?
Most limited events run from five days to two weeks: Rosalind's event lasted six days, the Underground event five on Steam, and Clarissa's and Elira's events about two weeks each. Battle Passes run three to four weeks — Ophelia's from September 25 to October 15, Vendetta's from September 14 to October 11, 2026. So far, the game's event entries on Steam have ended at 15:30 UTC on the last day.
Do Steam, Nutaku and the browser version get the same events?
Not always. The Underground event started a day earlier on Nutaku than on Steam, and in late September 2026 Nutaku's Battle Pass was Vendetta while Steam's was Ophelia. The browser version can also run a different event from Steam in the same week. Steam events are announced in the game's Steam news, Nutaku's on its Nutaku news page; the ways to play each version are on the download page.
Do events come with promo codes?
No. Event rewards — the event heroine, her scenes, resources and roulette prizes — are earned inside the game, and no event announcement so far has carried a code. The game does have a Promo Code field in Settings; how to use it is on the promo codes page.
