Isekai Waifu Almanac

Dated log

Isekai: Waifu Overlord news and event log

Fourteen dated entries from three primary channels, newest first, each with a link to its source. Running on September 22, 2026: the Battle Pass “Vendetta”, September 14 – October 11, 2026, announced on Nutaku. The Steam version is still listed as coming soon, and its feed contains no patch notes yet.

How this log works

This page lists announcements about Isekai: Waifu Overlord that we can link to. If we cannot point to a dated post by the developer, the publisher or a platform that carries the game, the item is not here. No rumours, no “leaks”, no reposts from aggregator sites.

We read three channels:

The Steam feed is smaller than it looks. On September 22, 2026 it held 11 items. Only 6 concern this game: two wishlist milestones from summer 2026 and four posts from October and November 2025 about the demo and two Steam festivals. The other 5 are cross-promotion for sibling games from the same publisher — demo and release notices for Wet Wealth, Lustquake Legion, Passion Industry and Cookie of Desire. None of the 11 is a patch note. We log the 6 and leave the rest out.

Each entry gives the date of the post, what it states and a link: to the post itself for Steam and Nutaku, to the account's public timeline for Bluesky. Event windows are given as the post gives them. The Steam date has its own page: the release date tracker.

The log

Newest first. The date on each entry is the date of the post, or of the launch itself; event windows are inside the text. Last full pass through all three channels: September 22, 2026.

  1. Battle Pass “Vendetta” (September 14 – October 11, 2026)

Nutaku's post introduces Vendetta, “the Lazy Warrior”, described as a new Legendary heroine made by the Goddess of War. She is the main reward of a Battle Pass running from September 14 to October 11, 2026, with progress through quests. Live on the date of our last pass.

  2. 80,000 Steam wishlists

A thank-you post from the publisher's account for passing 80,000 wishlists. In passing it mentions farming plots, expeditions and village walks. Nothing about a release, a reward or a code.

  3. Royal Challenge event (August 27 – September 1, 2026)

A six-day event on the Nutaku version built around a princess, Rosalind von Eisenthal. The post names a rare artifact as the reward. Ended.

  4. Japanese Festival: “Catch Fish with Miyuki” (July 31 – August 13, 2026)

A fishing event hosted by a character named Miyuki, running from July 31 to August 13, 2026 according to the post — which is dated five days after the start. Ended.

  5. 65,000 Steam wishlists

A thank-you post. It speaks to players who came in “since soft launch” or “on Nutaku”, and says updates continue while the team is “pushing toward a full Steam release”. It does not say where the soft launch ran.

  6. Launch day on Nutaku

The date Nutaku's announcement gave for the game's launch on its platform. The 72-hour race described in the next entry started with the release. A Steam post twelve days later addresses players who had joined on Nutaku.

  7. Nutaku announces the launch and a 200,000 Nutaku Gold race

The post sets the launch for July 16, 2026 and mentions pre-registration bonuses before it. The “Nutaku Race Challenge” terms as stated: within 72 hours of release, clear 150 levels of the Expedition. There were 61 prizes — one of 20,000 Gold and 60 of 3,000 Gold — adding up to 200,000 Nutaku Gold with a stated worth of $2,000. Winners were to be announced on Discord on July 20. Expired.

  8. Waifu Gala festival on Steam (July 27 – August 10, 2026)

The publisher's Bluesky account says it is bringing 11 games, this one included, to the Waifu Gala festival on Steam. The gift code “Waifu” in the same thread belongs to Wet Wealth, a different game — see promo codes.

  9. The Fair Update

A travelling circus arrives with a character the post calls the “Sad Jester” Clarissa, plus missions, points and a wheel. The post mentions a thank-you gift of 200 Gems placed in the in-game bank. The event ended on May 14, 2026.

  10. Story Map Update

Adds a Story Map that collects the plot points in one place, a new character named Camila, and balance changes to skills and bonuses. All players receive 20 Summon Tickets. This is the oldest post about the live build that we can link.

  11. Adult Games Week on Steam

Says the game is part of Steam's Adult Games Week festival and sends readers to the publisher's Steam page for other games and demos.

Source: Steam announcement, November 14, 2025

  12. Steam Next Fest, October 13–20, 2025

Three demos from the publisher take part: this game, Passion Industry and Cookie of Desire. The post describes Isekai: Waifu Overlord as a management sim about building a village for a goddess, and asks for feedback and wishlists.

Source: Steam announcement, October 13, 2025

  13. Steam demo released

The demo is out; the post asks for wishlists ahead of Next Fest. The demo is no longer offered on the listing, and no post says when it was withdrawn.

  14. Demo pre-announced for October 7, 21:00 CET

The oldest item in the app's Steam feed. It names the demo's release as October 7, 2025 at 21:00 CET and describes a fantasy management sim in which a goddess hands you a village to build up.

What is missing from the record

Three gaps you should know about.

There is no patch-note history on Steam. The game is not released there, and none of the 11 items in its feed is a changelog. The closest thing we can link is the April 24, 2026 Bluesky post, which mentions balance changes to skills and bonuses; it is an update announcement, not a changelog. When Steam patch notes start after release, they enter the log like everything else: date, what the note states, link.

X and Discord are not used. The Steam page links to the publisher's X account and to a Discord server. The X timeline is login-gated, and the Discord server — publisher-wide, about 22,000 members per its public invite on September 22, 2026 — has to be joined before anything can be read. We do not log in to sources, because a reader without an account could not check the entry. Anything announced only there — the winners of the July launch race, for one, which Nutaku's post said would be named on Discord — is absent from this log.

The early history is thin. The oldest Steam item is dated October 4, 2025. The oldest post about a live build that we found is dated April 24, 2026, yet the July 28, 2026 Steam post speaks of a “soft launch” that no source places or dates. We have not filled that gap with guesses.

Questions and answers

How often is this log updated?

Whenever we re-read the three channels. The update date shown on this page is the date of the last full pass — September 22, 2026 for this version. The next pass is planned for the listed Steam release day, September 25, 2026, with another in the days after it to catch any first patch notes. If that date is weeks old, assume the log is behind and use the channel links above.

Why are there no patch notes here?

Because none have been published where we can link them. The Steam version is not out, and its feed holds no changelog. What we can link about the live build are update and event announcements, not version-by-version patch notes. What the game's systems are, as its makers describe them, is covered on the gameplay page.

Where do the developers post first?

Going by the record: since the July 2026 launch, every event post we can link appeared on Nutaku's news page, and none of those events was mentioned in the Steam feed, which has carried only milestones, festival notices, the demo and cross-promotion for the publisher's other games. The April 2026 updates were posted on Bluesky. Discord or X may well be earlier than all of these; we cannot read them without an account, so we cannot say.

Can I trust the event dates?

They are taken from the posts, so they are as reliable as the posts. Two limits apply. First, the event windows we recorded are calendar dates, with no hour and no time zone, so an event may start or end some hours off from your local date; the only post in this log that names an hour and a zone is the October 2025 demo pre-announcement (21:00 CET). Second, posts can trail the events: Nutaku's Battle Pass post is dated September 17 for a window that opened on September 14, and the Miyuki festival post is dated August 5 for an event that began on July 31. If an end date matters to you, do not leave it to the last day.
